Our hotel is located in the UNESCO World Heritage Upper Middle Rhine Valley. The cultural landscape along the Middle Rhine is dotted with many mysterious castles and fortresses, and in the heart of it lays the Loreley, one of the most beautiful stops along the premium hiking trail “Rheinsteig”. The Freilichtbühne Loreley (Open Air Theater Loreley) is an amphitheater located on the Loreley rock plateau. Together with competent partners in the regions, particularly hiker-friendly accommodations and catering establishments are awarded in Germany. As an outspoken hiking region, Boppard is located on the two premium long-distance hiking trails Rheinsteig and Rheinburgenweg as well as on local hiking trails for one-day tours starting and finishing at Boppard.
Cycling is a pleasure in the Middle Rhine Valley. From Bingen to Koblenz, two well-maintained cycle paths lead along an almost flat route along the Rhine. For more demanding tours, take the paths through the vineyards or climb the Rhine Heights. There is a designated mountain bike trail in the Boppard Stadtwald and a Bikepark for bicycle virtuosos.
